>> And inode thinks its kind of cute of her............colored people make such good servants you know.
inode thinks people ought to work off the facts, not off of scenarios dreamed up by nutjobs. There was never at any point a reference to "servants" in any of the legal documents involved.
You really piss me off. You make claims in your posts that are not substantiated........like that you've read the entire deposition and know its content. If there were true, why the fukk did you miss this portion of the deposition:
“Well what I would really like is a bunch of little niggers to wear long-sleeve white shirts, black shorts and black bow ties, you know in the Shirley Temple days, they used to tap dance around,” the lawsuit claims Deen said. “Now that would be a true southern wedding, wouldn’t it? But we can’t do that because the media would be on me about that.”
Just last nite you claimed the author of the article I posted was providing misinformation re what was in the deposition re her comments over a wedding. Now its true that its only an allegation and has not been determined to be true in a court of law but given some of the other things mentioned in the deposition.........like special facilities for the African American staff at one of her restaurants.........which shouldn't be too hard to prove or disprove..........it wouldn't surprise that Deen was responsible for the above comments. And then there are these statements:
Billips also asked Deen whether she thought “jokes” containing the N word would be hurtful. Deen said she was unsure.
“That’s kind of hard. Most — most jokes are about Jewish people, rednecks, black folks. Most jokes target — I don’t know. I didn’t make up the jokes, I don’t know,” said Deen. “They usually target, though, a group. Gays or straights, black, redneck, you know, I just don’t know — I just don’t know what to say. I can’t, myself, determine what offends another person.”
Where there is so much smoke..........can there not be fire? I think so. |
