I am so sick of the coverage of the George Zimmerman trial. Even 'fair and balanced' Fox has it on most of the day.

The over-reaching importance of this trial is ludicrous in that it is a media-created event. The man obviously acted in self defense, against a punk (at best) who was infinitely more racist than Zimmerman is, and whose media portrayal as a defenseless child is nothing short of criminal.

Black on white crimes, even more despicable than the media portrayal of this one, happen every day in this country, and they are simply unacknowledged, as if they never occurred, because they don't further the media's, and the administration's, one-sided, single-minded racist agenda.

What is worse is that, because of the constant, drumbeat coverage of this show trial, issues that the American public most definitely needs to be made aware of ... such as the daily uncovering of even more damning evidence in the Benghazi massacre, the IRS and the NSA over-stepping of their bounds, and the cavalier, king-like behavior of our president (at the financial and liberty expense of the average citizen) ... are being ignored.

Talk about bread and circuses.
