A lot of valid points but this is bs:

a $150 Pebble that is superb and on the market months before the iWatch is going to make it almost impossible for the iWatch to get the hype and love previous new devices received.

The Pebble looks like something found at the bottom of a cereal box circa 1987. If Apple, with its J.Crew-ish ads and fetish for all things sleek, can't produce anything more attractive than that, I agree, the company is doomed.

And hype? I think a multibillion dollar company can out-hype just about anyone outside of Hollywood. And everyone knows, Apple is preaching to a cult.
