Mike and All, Interesting news tidbit on Telecom AM that reinforces what Mike has said: --Company News-- ERICSSON TO CUT ANOTHER 10,000 JOBS IN NEXT TWO YEARS Ericsson confirmed it will cut 10,000 more jobs in its Infocom division over the next two years as part of a restructuring plan begun in 1995. The company said it already has cut 10,000 jobs to improve what it said was unsatisfactory profitability caused by increased competition, deregulation and technical development. The affected division includes the former public telecom and business network areas as well as activities pertaining to radio access to fixed wireless networks.
