It is singling out if the investigations involved selecting based on the entity's name and we know that was the case.

"Singling out" does not imply that NO other investigations were undertaken. Singling out is not only quantitative, it is qualitative -- what kinds of demands were made of applicants, what was the processing time frame of one group versus another (since time is of the essence in these approvals), as well as the way in which they were selected for further review.

"Secretly" is your word, not mine. The WH logs have been cited in numerous media accounts, and you can perform searches of the logs online yourself if you choose to.

For IRS employees and union officials to meet with the president, face-to-face, are exceedingly rare events and it is difficult to understand why such meetings would occur time and time again.
