I've known many women who have had abortions. I know one woman who claimed to have had six.

In every case I know of, the abortion was birth control and in no case was it a matter of "reproductive health."

And I do think every one of them would acknowledge that in the end, it was birth control.

I would also say that I've discussed this issue with several of these women in recent times, and every one of those with whom I've discussed it has regrets about it. One in particular was 16 when she became pregnant, and she still has emotional issues with the abortion.
