I have a Sony Hi8 and I converted some video last month with ROXIO Video Capture USB, but my camera is really fricked up, it works, then it stops, keeps doing that, don't know what the problem is. I may have to get them professionally done. There is a guy in my city that does them out of his house, will convert them to any format you want, just give him the tapes and an external hard drive to store the videos on.

Look into companies that do this type of work, they are out there.

The color is bad on my conversions, not sure if its the old Hi8 tapes or the screwed up camera.
