"You defined Evil as "what is hurtful or harmful". Thanks for admitting that you hurt and harm all the time."

Yes, I do harm and hurt occasionally. But that is not "evil" when applied to lettuce or ants. In other words, actions do not need to have a moral quality at all times .You need to understand that all creatures must consume others to survive. It is necessary to do so. Humans are not squirrels (with some Fundy exceptions), and we have an unwritten pact to assist our species through the harvesting of other life. Actually, for thousands of years now, our pact has been codified in order to maximise what is helpful and to minimise what is hurtful...for various tribes and groups within our species. Civilised people have been attempting to extend that conceit to all humans--world-wide.

Civilised people have also advanced their thinking to include the idea that no animals should be unnecessarily harmed or hurt. And we try to assist different species from going extinct because survival is difficult and once a species is gone...it is gone.

This is why, the word "evil" should be reserved for philosophical discussions. Because when harming others is a good thing, it confuses small people and stunted intellects.
