Our rivers and waterways were so polluted until the clean water act and EPA they were dangerous to everyone. Capitalism caused that, it did not solve it.

What an ignorant statement. If you've ever visited any 3rd world sh!thole or spent time in the former USSR, you'd know what real pollution looks like. So would you be willing to state that communism, socialism or primitive tribalism cause pollution?

Pollution is what it is, and reasonable and enforceable laws to curtail it are in the best interests of all. The current EPA has gone far beyond reasonable and has sailed off into radical green loonyland..
