It means Obama is not that unhappy about Morsi being gone. He could not oppose Morsi out loud, but behind closed doors he/they did not like him.

Now that the secular folks, and women, have a better chance to be heard Obama will be happy and support them.

Obama is big on womens rights and does not like strict Muslim theocracy any more than the rest of us.
