Acquired an Elgato video capture USB with software - also had to get an S video cable since my huge box of cables didn't seem to have one. On sale at Fry's for $95.

Have transferred 4 tapes so far and uploaded to YouTube. Happy with it so far. Haven't tried out all the features or the editing feature yet.
