John...don't know about 73 or 88. larry norman is accredited with being the grandfather of the contemporary christian rock wave of the last 4 decades. wrote first song at 8 in 1956. he did "i wish you had all been ready" "outlaw' "UFO" had the musical talent of a bob dylan, but gave up all the riches and fame to write songs for the Kingdom. The sad thing is becasue the church can be religiuos about music most of the shots he took were from friendly fire that was on purpose if you know what i mean.... but now that the rock beat is more accepted then all of a sudden even Pat Boone thinks he is a musical giant for the Lord. Ps. He is in poor health and needs our prayers.
