I think you have an absolute right to shoot people breaking in to your home, absent some sort of enticement on your part,

I think the breaking in has to be at night in order for the right to be absolute--the theory being people can't endanger themselves by waiting to ID an intruder. The one instance, I can think of, where you can shoot first and ask questions later
