SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA, 1997 DEC 5 (NB) -- By Stuart Kennedy, Computer Daily News. Cisco Australia [NASDAQ:CSCO] chief Gary Jackson has lassoed himself a telco in the form of AAPT which will consign its Cascade frame relay network to the paddock in favor of Cisco StrataCom switches. The upgrade will take until March next year and involve 12 ATM switches and 1,700 routers. Cisco and AAPT will also work together on flogging gear and services to the corporate market.
