[VIDEO] Businesses flee California over heavy, unfair tax burden scoop 8 640 CBN News reports on how businesses are fleeing California because of the heavy tax burden and regulations being imposed on them by the state. But even more than just a heavy tax burden, businesses are fleeing what they see as unfair taxation as well. In December of last year, California decided to cancel a tax break that businesses had been using and then decided to collect taxes from that tax break retroactively. So business who used the tax break for the past 5 years had to ‘reimburse’ the state of California for the entire 5 years of money they saved from that tax break. This has created an atmosphere of tremendous uncertainty is one of the reasons businesses are abandoning the state. Watch the full report:
