How did Zimmerman catch up to Trayvon? Zimmerman was in his truck talking to a police officer and said the suspicious person was starting to run. He then got out and started to follow him. But how did Zimmerman ever catch Trayvon, a running 17 year old? They would have never come face to face unless Trayvon waited in ambush for Zimmerman.
