my HS friend is part owner of the largest ocean sports activity company on the island. last year we went out on the cocktail whale watch off Waikoloa. I hadn't been out on one of his boats in years. We saw so many whales I simply lost count. literally somewhere close to 200 whales....from mother whales with keiki(babies) to breeching teens to super breeching adults.
