I have always considered professional wrestling to be modern American mythology. The battle of good and evil. A dissertation in the waiting. It is also marketing in its purest form. If the good guys always win, the sport(?) dies out. Good needs evil (back to mythology). I agree, pro wresting reflects the American mindset.
