.........I have to say that Martin could not have been much of a fighter either although he certainly fancied himself as one.. One well landed blow to the jaw with BARE fists in all probability would have knocked Zimmerman unconscious and possibly broke Martin's hand. Look at the damage the MMA guys do with 4 oz gloves when landing a clean blow to the jaw......few can take even one such punch......look what happened to Silva the other day. My guess is that Martin sucker punched him in the nose and most if not all of the subsequent punches didn't land clean or were blocked. That's not to say Martin wasn't on top...... punching him and hitting his head on the sidewalk......and if Martin also did say.....to the effect "you are going to die tonight" I can find no fault with Zimmerman pulling out his gun and shooting him.
