RE: Company information normally given first to analysts.

Dale,

I totally agree. I can't think of a really good reason why this information has to be "filtered" through analysts when we have the technology to allow broad dissemination instantly through the web.

Analysts have some limited use to me personally, but after seeing how they'll call a HOLD the day AFTER warnings but post STRONG BUY 3 weeks before warnings, I just want equal access to information.

If you want to draft up some proposal, I'll put my voting shares behind it. I don't think the total # of SI investors have a significant % of QNTM shares, but we could start an avalanche by getting the press to use it as their story of the day.

Time to start putting cracks in the ol' boy network. The majority(?) of money invested in the US stock market is by the little guy, mostly in funds though. As the independent investor movement gains power through cheap on-line brokerages like E*Trade, Datek, etc., perhaps we can force some changes in this obviously unfair setup.
