had a large oak 39 inches in diameter fall on my house took 90% of the top floor out, we had a big wing coming off the main house, sheared a 40 wall off it collapsing the whole wing. destroyed 50% of the first floor

it took two 40 ton cranes to lift it off my house, from the street all you could see from my house was the head of the tree which fell from the back of the house, I have a 6000 sq ft house.

11 months to rebuild. I know all about falling trees, have 5 acres 4 are woods with many 100 ft oak trees.

I have had giant branches 18" in diameter 30 foot long just break off and fall from a healthy tree, pretty nerve wracking when you have two little boys running around the yard
