With all of the initiatives going into full swing on the part of numerous niche players as well as the likes of folks like MSFT, IBM, etc.... it is difficult, at best, to imagine S-1, after their initial mind share lead of two years ago, being more than a sub player...if not, in the end, a take over, into a larger organization. It is very hard to see where they will gain clout going forward for true/real participation in a way bringing secure returns on an equity investment in this company....short of betting on a merger/sell out/take over/whatever. I don't see, IMO, how they can exist effectively as a stand alone....and dumping the bank certainly makes it much easier to merge them into another "tech" organization. The dream must now operate on the reality of business basics.... that simple. Re: the lack of press savvy....... per the caution one can see in all of their statements over the last year....which prior, didn't exist. Someone must have told them about lawsuits. Indeed, the only thing you could accuse the CEO and CFO and PRES of doing/saying, is having said absolutely nothing for the last 6 qtrs. Talk about a lesson in careful nothingness, they get an A+.
