This is indeed absurd.

The prosecution argued simultaneously that Martin was a child and a young man.

Zimmerman is simultaneously a white, and a white Hispanic.

I wish I were on the jury. Almost. Not really. Anyway, I hope the jury has 'common sense,' another attribute touted by the prosecution. If it has common sense it will see through this fog of nonsense.
