My husband and I are taking a break from yard work and sitting here listening to pundits on Fox discuss the possible verdict in the Zimmerman case.

I continue to be dumbfounded by the fact that the President of the United States, from the word go, prejudiced this court proceeding, by declaring that the ‘victim’ could be his son. Not enough attention has been given to the wicked, prejudicial nature of that ludicrous statement.

Following that, powers aligned with him in effect demanded that charges be brought against Zimmerman when law enforcement did not believe they were warranted.

Then similar powers aligned with him financed (at your and my expense) ‘spontaneous demonstrations’ that in effect demanded that Zimmerman be found guilty.

A judge who shares this president’s agenda openly thwarted the defense’s case countless times during the trial.

The President of the United States has aligned himself, from the moment George Zimmerman pulled the trigger, killing a young thug who was threatening his life, with the thug … for the simple reason being that the thug is black.

This president has stepped far beyond the bounds of his power, has exhibited more racism than anyone he or his minions accuse of such behavior, and has shown his over-riding agenda to be the desire to 'elevate' (in a perverted way, by making them more dependent) blacks, and, in that crusade, denigrate and despise whites and other non-blacks. And, as a secondary result of this trial, he wants all Americans to be fearful of defending themselves with a gun.

He will bend or break any law to accomplish those goals. Whether he will be held accountable for such immoral, lawless behavior will determine whether an America that our Founders would recognize will survive.

In large part, the verdict in the Zimmerman trial will serve as a prediction of that outcome, because it will illustrate how willing six American citizens (who are most likely representative of the populace in general) are to allow this president to break laws and pervert justice at will.
