Rob,

The issue that is important to me is that internet is double-edged sword. It provides both a common forum for shareholders and interested parties to ask pertinent questions and share knowledge about an investment, a collective intelligence and analytical tool, if you will. But on the opposite end it also creates a marvelous opportunity for disinformation and unbridled and unsubstantiated hype to reign unfettered and this is what the SEC is so concerned about.

My original interest in "trolling" on the RMIL thread was due to the enormous number of postings that the company's followers have posted here. Knowing that regulatories authorities equate "over-posting" as an apparent red-flag, I wanted to see if what this company was telling its shareholders was being substantiated by the facts or some physical evidence.

I also came over to offer warnings about the damage that over-enthusiastic posting can do to a company that may be a credible business. Over exhuberant and confusing information from shareholders claiming to be receiving information from the subsequent damage of being considered an "Internet Hype stock", rightly or wrongly can lead authorities to take action because the "lack of current and accurate information". Being a shareholder of a company, excersizing your right to express your opinion does not exclude you from being examined when the defecation hits the rotary oscillator. Especially if you were involved in spreading information around that is not publically available through company filings.

Basically, I've been there. I probably should be more descreet regarding my experiences. However, then many others out there might be unaware of the repercussions of contacting companies and relaying any information gained out here to what they consider to be a "public forum". As I understand it, SI, or any other Bulletin Board, is not considered to be an appropriate venue for releasing material information.

In retrospect, I have certainly learned that I don't want to do anything that will have a negative impact on any of my investments due to comments that I might out here. People like RileyG and Joey K. have yet to learn this and I hope that lesson isn't too painful or costly for Joey... RileyG is on his own and receives no sympathy from me.

And remember people, Being questioned by authorities and asked to show them documentation is not necessary bad or a sign of guilt. It is merely very costly.

RILEYG: Would you care to ONCE MORE REAFFIRM that you HAVEN"T SOLD ANY OF YOUR OVIS/RMIL STOCK??? You have a following. You are the leader of this "Cartel". And you have a responsibility for some disclosure if you truly believe. How about it?? Tell us "publically" that you haven't sold any stock in RMIL.

Regards,

Ron
