Nokey has obviously put alot of blood and guts into bringing pureview technology to market. Can anyone see how many of these innovations are patented? I can find articles on the origin and how many years it took to bring to market, but I can't seem to find much on patents. This is a big deal to me and a remarkable competitive advantage I would like to see protected. These are the features that will keep nokia at 75% of the windows market allow them to battle for market share.

THIS AWESOME CAMERA IS WORTH CHANGING TO WINDOWS PHONE for anyone who digs taking pics with their smartphone. Its a clear and meaningful differentiator of one of the KEY ELEMENTS of a smartphone.

Smartphone cameras have been around for years now. And the fact that the first word people say is WOW says it all. This is not processor specs..its not megapixels... its something people can clearly see and understand at the most basic level. SHow them a picture and watch their jaws drop.

This is Nokia's rocket punch to the samsung and apple keiju! (Watch pacific rim!) And something nokia can advertise the hell out of.

Rarely does the opportunity to blatantly show off a superiority to your opponent present itself. I hope nokia does not throw away this opportunity.

Also they are already going after htc for copying the rich recording. How much of this innovation belongs to Nokia and how much to St. Microelectronics.
