If I were the parent, I think I would go after the law that allowed that to happen. And the stereotypes. Zimmerman is just a poor crazy shlub, what good would garnishing his wages do? It wouldn't bring Trayvon back, and another trial would just keep wounds open w/o healing. But of course I'm not the parent and who knows in the moment maybe I would want revenge on the actual poor shlub who did this instead of the system that promoted circumstances that allowed it all to happen.
