Having garnished wages before--that is a long slow payoff. And states limit the amount one can take from a pay check (back in the days I think it was 25% in Calif). In short, not worth as lot for the time and trouble--unless one specializes in wage garnishment.

Maybe some lawyer would take it on for the PR and the other cases it might attract to him/her if successful.

As for the parents, they probably do want to pursue it, but, unlike the OJ case (IMHO), there is a lot of grey area as to the facts--so I do not see the chance of success as high.

I just hope the Federal Justice Department doesn't get involved in some civil rights action for depriving the deceased of his right to life because of the ambiguity of the evidence and the polarizing political effect it will have on the Florida electorate.
