royco,i m absent minded. sorry. My opinion of intc depends on what mngmt says in Q1. There are too many questions. I think i said $420 target for intel in yr. 2007. based on 18% earning growth per year.
Intel goes in spurts and when the spurt will happen no one knows.

if intel mngmt feels all lines are clear and business is about to bloom maybe they will announce stock buy back. BOOM we shoot up.

on, oct 28(?) IBM was the first company to announce they are buying
back their stock which is what gave some support. Look at IBM it's
making new high now. I just sold my IBM and i m a bit sorry i did that.

I have heard lots of analyst are giving intel target of $100 next year.

tell your son thanks for buying DELL computer. (my stock).

Kurlak : if HQ and ML merge either Kurlak or Dave Chimpzne will have to go. I have accounts at ML and I am not impressed with ML.

Royco, do you buy anthing other then techs and some drugs?

I m thinking of buying spy(s&P500), small cap fund w. maybe 1/3 of intvestment.

i m trying to limit my hi tek to 1/3, market index 1/3 and 1/3 safe
money in corp bond, selling leaps and msftp.

it's very tempting to buy intel as it's YTD performance is 0% so next
yr it would do well.
