Greetings Nancy, and welcome to this thread. I would personally like to state some concrete facts where myself and some other " brethren " are coming from. It is because of the promise given to Abraham in Gen 12:1-3, that Myself, a gentile by birth have been grafted in to the cultivated olive tree by the grace of our Lord and Saviour ,Jesus Christ. From Abraham up until the coming of the Promised One, God specifically made His purposes known through one nation , that being " Israel ". The New Covenant instituted with the precious blood of the Lamb of God is a continuation of the Old Covenant, that is, God has forever abolished the practices of the Old covenant and put away sin forever by the sacrifice of the " sinless Son of God ". The Old Covenant practices were just a foreshadow of the New Covenant that God promised to Abraham. God specifically up until Calvary dealt with one nation but from that time onward all nations and peoples have equal opportunity to respond to the "Gospel". Romans 11, the Apostle Paul ( a former believer in Judaism ) now declares to his native brethren that although they were chosen by God to fullfill the promise given to Abraham, and fullfilled in Jesus Christ, they now must come the same way as all nations , that is through our Lord Jesus Christ. I wish to state again, that the true " Israel of God " from Calvary onward is made up of all nations both Jews and gentiles and that Almighty God cares and looks at all nations equally. Romans 11: 26-28 has been fullfilled to the letter. The present day Israel is anti-christ and apostate according to the Word of God and is kept purely by " political " self interests of certain Nations. ROMANS 2:28-29 is the biblical definition of a True Jew, one who has faith in their heart not their physical place of birth or blood line. You proclaim that " Jesus Christ is Lord " therefore I sincerly welcome you and Allan to this thread and please know for certain that these responses are not against you personally but against the lies and perversions of the " evil one".
