Okay, so you DO love money more!!!! If finances are difficult, tickets can be going away for a romantic weekend or something. I just think almost everyone is reeling under stuff that needs to be maintained, dusted, carted around, etc., and that relationships could almost always use a little nurturing.
Maybe if you want to give S.J. an actual present, is there a perfume she really loves and wears all the time? What about jewelry? If she likes it and wears it, I have seen so many incredible sales, at least in this area, that I suspect you could get her something in silver, at least, for around $50. Surprisingly, a lot of women like very practical gifts, also. How is the sound system in her car? If she likes music, maybe new speakers would make it sound better. If she likes plants, maybe a new plant in a really beautiful planter would feel luxurious to her. Would she like some fish? A nice aquarium could be gotten in that price range. Does she love to cook? Maybe there is a piece of kitchen equipment she is missing. Do you have a lot of photographs of your life together lying around? Putting together a very special photo album would be really treasured.
