Wayne Heisenga....

Gary, you mentioned ESA in your post, and I have been looking at that one for quite some time. I will invest an anything that Wayne Huisenga is involved in. Besides owning the Dolphins, Marlins, Joe Robby Stadium, and half of south Florida, he is also the CEO of Republic Inductries, (RII - NYSE). A little history on this guy, he started in the early 60's with a garbage truck, and later sold Republic Waste to Waste Management (WMX). Then he bought a little bitty video company that was in trouble, and named it Blockbuster, which he sold to Viacom in 95 for 8 BILLION dollars. After that, he started Republic Industries, which held many home security divisions. (They bought ADT), which they sold to Ameritech a few weeks ago.

Now, Republic is into used cars, and will revolutionize the way people buy cars. They have bought Alamo Car rental, and some others. And, they have also bought several several dealerships. By these, they have formed AutoNation.

Huisenga also owns ESA. Read the news on this one. It is at a nice price now.

Bottom line is, anything this guy touches turns to gold. He has a Midas Touch.
