Apple began taking pre-orders for the first-generation iPad on March 12, 2010


and while the iPad is amazing, there is no way that it belongs on that list in terms of innovation. Most of the real innovation was done in the iPhone.

I would put the first Macbook Air onto that list before I put the iPad.
