Ilk???

Allow me to moderate for the moment...

According to the Merriam Webster dictionary, the word ILK refers to breed, class, specimen... the example they cite is:

The club attracts punk rockers and others of that ilk.

Clearly, there is a negative connotation in the use of that word and has nothing to do with referring to those criticize data without presenting their own, as you suggested...

The fact is, the poster is not criticizing, he's merely asking the same question I've asked you several times, e.g., how come you never mention a rally other than to call it "just a bounce?"

This market has been in a rally for several years with only minimal pull backs along the way...

I don't know anyone else who would characterize this incredible multi year rally a "just a bounce."

That's not a criticism, that's a question... and if someone is clueless, then how else can they learn but to ask questions...
