Joel, I agree that selling out to a bigger player may be the way to go, but they have to dress it up a little first. Selling the bank and rejuvinating their development/implementation talent helps. Improving their product would help more. Then, the question becomes who. I hear Novell is back in the acquisition arena with the new CEO, but would that be a good fit (and do I care about fit if they pay a good price?). Someone selling to banks already would probably be best, but is there anyone not already part of some consortium already? Hell, I'd take MSFT.
