And you seem to have low standards for beating the crap out of someone. According to Bao, all of Zimmerman's injuries can be accounted by a single blow. So the number of punches thrown were probably more like 2 or 3. Which is consistent with the damage to TM's hand.


So it is easy to understand you -- if a strange black man (or white man) attacked you, punching you in the face 1-3 times, and you had a weapon with which you could defend yourself, are you saying you wouldn't use it? Not knowing where the beating was going to lead, not knowing if you would have another opportunity to defend yourself, not knowing whether the guy was serious when he said, "You're going to die tonight, motherfucker" -- you would not defend yourself with your weapon?

To put it more directly, exactly HOW MANY punches to the face do you think should be the cutoff? 2, 3, 5, 10? How many would you tolerate before using your weapon?
