Alan are you aware of the November issue of The Financial Post Magazine. There is an article from Dianne Francis book The Inside Story, about Bre-x. It has some more infomation about what Barrick knew. They smelled something was wrong. Why they didn't go public I guess is up to them. I don't have a scanner so can't put the article here. Maybe some one else could.
