Apparently you didn't watch any of the trial and get all of your facts from left wing propaganda. The testimony was that he had physical evidence of at least 6 blows to the head, and there could have been many more blows that did not leave a laceration or abrasion. Also there was evidence of several blows to the face, one directly at his nose, one to the side of the nose, one to the forehead and another on the face. The testimony was that the blows causing lacerations were fairly serious and further blows or somewhat harder blows of that nature could be life threatening.
