Old man Moses didn like Idols? Maybe that's part of the reason they lost everything & were annihiliated, no skillsets for art or the imagination , just fundmentalism.

The popes sure liked idols though, try Rome's Villa Borghese one of the finer collections of that papal dynasty & trust me they were not poor or humble either. (surprise surprise)

And what was the moral of the story of Apollo's chase of Daphne concerning the transience of pursuing earthly pleasure, love & passion? About 500-600yrs before baby jesus is born? Beauty...
