Another moronic question, apparently connecting even a few dots is a difficulty for you? What is the chief issue we find in the main of the book? Is the morality about the soul? The afterlife? Worrying about the fates of others & praying for their salvation? No. No, its about the covenant for the LAND for the tribe & all thereon & therein , including the water that flows thru the land. And if you ever want to get into a feud over morality, i guarantee water & land rights will trump your absolutes everytime, eternally. How are these nimrods going to do all those cleansing rituals to make themselves clean after menstruation & men's bodily discharge in Levictitus without water?
