This is not true. A person with a headcold can be treated at Parkland without one nickel of out of pocket expense and without insurance. There are hospitals like this all over the country.

Interestingly, after Obamacare, the charity hospital in our town (Sisters of Mercy, Catholic Charities) is looking for a privately operated buyer. A hospital that has been here since the early 1900s, has thrown in the towel saying we cannot operate under the rules of Obamacare. This will do more to harm access than anything that could have been done.

Just another consequence of idiots thinking good intentions will yield good results.
