I suspect this article is fairly accurate simply because it is quite common place among the poor, especially black people. Kids being born into families where he has 5 more half siblings each from different fathers leads to these problems.

The chances for success in rough neighborhoods are hard enough if you live with you natural parents who may not be great role models, but at least they keep it together as long as the kids are around.

What is really frightening is the power the media has to ruin one's life if you get on the wrong side of a visible issue. Combine that with a divisive administration and see what we have now.
