Do you ever get the feeling that Zimmerman was one major pain in the ass until he eventually killed someone and became something much worse?

I was part of a neighborhood watch program in the barrio of a major city and never had to call the cops 5-6 times per year. It looks to me like Zimmerman was trying to get a job with the Sanford PD.
