BUT he was elected way before there was such a thing as a Tea Party. End of story. I don't even know any people - including politicians who belong to the Tea Party. We are so liberal in my corner of America as to make the rest of the country look fascist. I do see politicians drunk on their power though because our system of governance is broken. As soon as you - or anyone else - says it all the other parties fault my eyes glaze over. What in the hell difference does it make whether it is a Democrat self interest spoon feeding federal money to corn farmers in Nebraska or Republicans funneling money to a 64 million dollar building in Afghanistan? Obviously the scalpel thing isn't working.
