Let's think about this.

Some Americans believe the United States is the best country on earth, so we choose to live here. Therefore, we aren't eligible to comment on the subject? Thus, by your reasoning, anyone who has lived in the US all his/her life isn't qualified to have an opinion on the greatness of the country, that is, the vast majority of Americans aren't qualified to comment.

Surely, I don't need to point the multiple logical fallacies in your reasoning.

Following it to your logical conclusion. By your rationale, the trajectory of the United States should be dictated SOLELY by people who have NOT lived their entire lives here, to the exclusion of those of us who have.

I think that's pretty damned funny.
