It was a local charlatan that took him to Nicaragua for the juice diet cure. He was a healthy guy most of his life and farmed about 50 quarters of land but was big into chemicals for farming and never wore gloves or a mask. I remember he got some weird rare form of cancer that was hard to diagnose and harder to treat. He is a big reason I stick to organic food.
