It's a system breakdown John. When a system breaks down you figure out how to fix it. <<You bought up the biggest point of all the family unit which has broken down in recent decades to say the least.. Kids born out of wedlock to single parents in the hoods have so much stacked against them from day one. How much has the percentage of kids born out of wedlock increased for both black and white people compared to 50 years ago? That combined with Reaganomics/trickle down economics on steroids that ain't working other than furthering the wealth inequality already at record levels plus LBJ's Great Society that started the welfare/food stamps/section eight fiasco which took out the incentive to work, plus globalization and technology that hollowed out the middle class and bought us to where we are today.
