It isn't going to happen immediately, but eventually it will likely happen. But Obama blew it pretty badly, and it will be a long time.

They're two totally, entirely different, unrelated things. There is no reason the numbers would "match".

AFAIK, the US does not pay to support families of killed members of the military. The life insurance policies (in my son's case, it was $400,000, but perhaps it is different for other soldiers) have already been disbursed and included in the total cost of ~1.5 Trillion.

The medical care will be an ongoing cost, but the variable portion of it is a relatively small amount of money, estimated at 500B over that 50 year period. That is a cost of war that must be paid, and it is a legitimate disbursement from tax revenue.
