Dear Nancy, I hope your day has been blessed. Mine certainly has, and you are a joy and a wonderful addition here.
And of course there is Rev. 7, 1-8. That can't be thrown out as meaning something else, because it doesn't.
Emile, I hope, will be able to shed more light on what he firmly believes, and I can see that he is most alarmed to see even the tiniest compromise in the belief that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. And I do tend to look like I'm compromising, but we have to bend just a little or we will never be able to speak to each other because everyone will be stomping off mad in the opposite direction--which, of course, the minnions of satan have always loved and have tried hard to keep us yelling at each other and stomping off in opposite directions, all of us, among ourselves, with others, you name it.
We have a saying in the Christian churches: " I'm looking for the perfect church, with the perfect people, who think exactly like I do. But after I find it....... it will no longer be perfect." :)
I do look forward to hearing from Emile, and between Emile and Alan and Robert there is a lot of wisdom they can all share and re-evalute if it is yet as perfect as it could be. Thank you so much for your very godly input.
Hey Alan--look what I can do: §¨§ |
