As you know, it's not rates that matter; it's the inflation rate in relation to rates. Last employment report saw an increase in hourly earnings of 10 cents. Lots of upside targets need to be broken: 110 on the XAU for one; $1400 on the POG for another. The rally off the lows looks more than countertrend. But we will find out soon enough.
